Don’t look now but Apple Mac hardware and the accompanying OS X 10.x operating system software are gaining significant momentum among corporate users.
A new, independent Yankee Group web-based survey of 750 global IT administrators and C-level executives found that nearly four out of five businesses–approximately 80%–have Macs and the OS X operating system installed in their networks. And although the Apple Mac hardware and OS X operating systems still represent a small niche, adoption and acceptance of Mac hardware and operating system software are growing at a steady and sustained pace not seen since the late 1980s. Windows Vista Refunds!

…so umm, apple market share has gone from 5% to 9% or 14% depending on who you listen to.
This is news?
The sky is falling?
Apple is still klunky. I switch hands using the mouse to avoid CTS (carpal) – right clicking with the left hand. Mighty mouse is sick. Ironically the mouse works better for me in XP.
Resizing windows only in the bottom right? Why not be able to all the way around?
…oh and been using this 24″ imac for a couple of months now. Just couldn’t grasp Apple’s mentality that I want the windows to appear as I like them. Say like a simple List view and not have a dozen icons on my desktop for some reason when I load something.
Oh and X means close, as in totally.
Granted it is better than Vista, but I’m doing this in XP mode and enjoying it more than OSX.

Wireless or corded?
>Resizing windows only in the bottom right? Why not be able to all the way around?
I HATED that at first. Took me like 2 weeks to get used to it.

Not sure what you mean here.
>Oh and X means close, as in totally.
Took me a couple days to get used to that. Now I actually prefer the Mac way now. Just use Cmd-Q like you’d use Alt-F4 and you should be fine.
…that’s the problem, the time to get USED to it. Why not just duplicate it? Meaning, I didn’t abandon Windows at work so the switching back and forth is annoying.
Seeing Microsoft is the big cheeze, Apple would fare well getting close to it.
What I meant about List view, is in Apple, list is basically detail view of windows. Waste of real estate.
Yeah, started using Cmd+Q now, but why not just make X a close? I mean what is the reason for not closing when clicking on the X?
Wired Mouse.
Yes you need to get used to the mouse.
A very Nice Website Ive seen Uptill. Excellent post. Keep it up! Good day!
