I've adapted though over time. Now I don't miss it. Strangely... Apple's Final Cut software DOES allow you to resize windows from any side. Re: Closing programs... It's different.. but think of it this way. You can have your mail program running without having a window alway minimized and taking up extra dock space. As well how many years did it take Apple to figure out what right clicking does...albeit I love the scroll wheel on the mighty mouse. One other thing that bugs me. When I close a program I want it closed, not shrunk to the taskbar.
