Hey, will you stop spamming on my site dude? Sheesh.

And while the new Macs awesome, you still can't pay me to work on OS X.

Oh, and not every school is happy switching to a Mac. I remember about a year ago, we had iMacs set up as well in our school, but they took forever to network. I mean, trying to access files from the server was a pain. You might as well have not tried. And some Macs also didn't work. So the school returned it months later, and we're using Vaio desktops, and we're happy to say, Windows actually works.

@Rob - what laptop are you using? My Sony Vaio runs Vista very speedy, and I know no performance issue. Even my cousin's new Dell laptop runs Vista real well.

Oh, one more thing. Seriously, using Windows Mail to access NNTP newsgroups is also unbearable. You want to see an application behave in an unpredictable manor? Just start testing the NNTP functionality of Windows Mail. An NNTP group with a decent number of articles, say maybe <500K, will not be handled well by Windows Mail. Some of the strangest behavior of any application I've ever used has occurred while using Windows Mail.

Has anybody done a study on how much time you waste simply waiting for Vista to respond? Day after day, I sit here using Vista with only one application open. The system is not strained, there's plenty of memory, this is a brand new machine, and yet, Vista freezes up and makes me wait for something to finish that it's running in the background before the only application I'm working on will start responding again. At least 30 times a day this happens. When it happens, I just get up and go do something else. 5 minutes later, Vista might be finished doing whatever it's doing in the background, but who knows? Your guess is as good as mine. Vista - when are you going to allow me to be productive and work without freezing my machine? There are days I want to throw the computer out the window I'm so pissed at Vista, but then I realize, it's the OS and not the machine. MUST DOWNGRADE TO XP!
