Microsoft has already got a large customer basis, and the "transition" to Vista is slow to be from one version of Windows to the latest. Customers simply refuse to do the change because it causes more damage than it do good. There are only 100% you see, if OS X increase, where do the users come from? Probably former XP users like me who have changed to OS X.
