Apple’s Web User Market Share Increases

Apple’s LogoApple’s successes with the iPod are finally translating into real momentum for its computer business, if statistics from Net Applications are any indication. The market research firm measured a 40 percent increase year over year in Mac usage on the Internet in September.     Vista increased by almost three times as much in the same month and now sits at 7.38%. Game on!

    Joe, don’t you realize what’s wrong with that argument? Microsoft has already got a large customer basis, and the “transition” to Vista is slow to be from one version of Windows to the latest. Customers simply refuse to do the change because it causes more damage than it do good.
    There are only 100% you see, if OS X increase, where do the users come from? Probably former XP users like me who have changed to OS X.
    I think Bill and the PR people at Redmond are pretty nervous these days, they should be…
