John Dvorak : Striking Out with Live.com

Live.com Search…So what is the point of this crummy product? Is it done just because Google has something like it (albeit the Google version seems more adult and useful)? The problem I’m seeing with a lot of these new ideas from Microsoft is that they are indeed simpler, but they lack power to the point that they are useless. Building products that are simple to use but useless is not a good formula for success, yet it seems to be the mantra at Microsoft. Read more.

    i feel - google have such a big database of info - and they are utilising it very well..

    msn and yahoo are still trying to increase there database but in doing that the are still not able to manage there resources v well - while google on othere hand using its resources smartly

    we have ti say - algorithm which google uses is perfect

    msn and yahoo will take time but surely come up as they both are trying different things - and giving great competetion to google
