Japan Explains: Why Xbox 360s Heat Up and Crap Out.

xbox_360.jpgFace it: the Xbox 360 isn’t quite up to snuff. The design is flawed, leading to an abnormal number of machines konking out. Since Microsoft won’t reveal the details of what exactly is causing the problems, Japanese news source Nikkei had a thermal design expert analyze the 360’s heat radiation system.     Its good to know that at least someone is trying to figure out what is causing this. Mine konked out after about a year. I published a squidoo lense detailing what I did to fix it. Hopefully it can help some people out.

    I hear that the new Jasper will fix the overheating problems. I’ll probably pick up one if my 360 Elite ever dies. *knock on wood* I’ve had it since last July with no problems.
