Justin has my sympathy. I bought a X360 on the first day of issue in the UK with a great deal of trouble. It lasted just over twelve months. But, just after the warranty period ran out it went all 'Microsoft.' On contacting the customer service department (probably out sourced to Pluto) I was told that I would have to pay for a repair. I could not afford the repair at the time, and my cash is still not flowing. So, for the last few months I have been playing games on my old original Xbox - which has never given me any problems.

When I first unpacked my X360 I was immediately disappointed. It did not look as robust or even as impressive as the original box. Then the horror stories started coming out. But I believed what many believed... it’s probably all exaggerated or it can't happen to me. It isn't and it did.....
