Quite frankly, I like to see mergers when it means consumers will benefit. Unlike the petroleum companies with their XXXpoint nine gas prices which echo from one station to the next in every town and city, Sun and Mac will become a viable competitor to MS. I like Windows, I really dislike Microsoft as a company, a corporation with nothing more to offer than substandard software with no warranties, guarantees, just license terms and conditions that would make the mafia look good. Time for Microsoft to make some changes as forcing their supporters to look after their piracy issues is despicable and morally wrong. Instead of forcing activation, verification and product qualification schemes on us, try developing software that can manage it's own piracy issues without forcing me to spend my time doing it. Until that happens, my money stays where it is.
